World Tea Awards Dinner
Friday, May 30, 2014 7:00pm - 10:00pm
Queen Salon aboard The Queen Mary
Black Tie Optional
Dust off your tux, pick out your evening gown, or dig up your finest Victorian garb. Fall back in time and join us for dinner, drinks, and dancing in the Queen Salon aboard the Queen Mary!
Once the grandest ocean liner in the world and the most regal way to travel, Queen Mary is conveniently docked in Long Beach and will serve as the elegant, historical landmark venue for the inaugural World Tea Awards dinner.
This new addition to our industry’s annual gathering, produced by World Tea Expo, will be a night of celebration, recognition, and fun. The full dinner is an evolution of our previous Cha Jing awards. It expands into a recognition program for the industry, but culminates with the donning of our Cha Jing Lifetime Achievement Award to this year’s recipient, Devan Shah.
Come join us for this black-tie optional formal industry celebration aboard the iconic Queen Mary, Friday, May 30, at 7:00 pm. This event has limited-seating, so reserve your spot today!
Price per person = $125. Reserved Table for 10 = $1000. Spouses and family members not registered for the Expo are welcome.
Our red carpet gala will be a night for recognition. Several awards will be presented that night. Nominations will be accepted during March for Best Tea Publication, Best Tea Book, Best Social Media Reach, Best Tea Room Website, Best Tea Retail Website, Best Tea Blog, Best Tea Educator, Best Tea Short/Commercial, Best Tea Room Menu and Best Tea Spirit.
By the people...for the people...
Be a part of the process! From now until April 25th you can nominate yourself or someone you feel deserves to be recognized. There are no restrictions on how many people or how many times you want to nominate. You do not need to be coming the Expo either. Once the nominations close, we will announce the finalists and begin the voting process. (The voting process will limit one vote per person.)
Don't miss the TEA party of the year!
Join your Emcees, George Jage, Founder and Director of World Tea Expo, and Gail Gastelu, Publisher of The Tea House Times, in this Oscar-like night celebrating our industry’s best.
